Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on December 1.

Make a positive difference this holiday season. Join us in delivering holiday smiles to local seniors.

This year, you can participate by donating a gift card in any denomination, or, you can create a homemade holiday card. Contributing to Santa for Seniors is a way to deliver hope and holiday cheer to seniors in our community, many of whom are not able to see their families on a regular basis.

Please bring your donations to our 47 North Main Street location during Intown Concord’s Midnight Merriment, Friday, December 3rd, between 5:30PM and 8:30 PM. Santa is available during those hours for meet and greets and photos outside under the tent.

NHFCU elves will be on hand to collect donations and letters to Santa. Midnight Merriment carolers and other volunteers will also be on site. The Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire will be inside our North Main Street location from 5:00PM – 9:00PM, with information about how they serve our local communities. There are other festivities you won’t want to miss, including several raffles!

Can’t make it to the event? We are accepting donations beginning Friday, December 3, through Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at all our locations:  70 Airport Road and 47 North Main Street, Concord, and 71 Calef Highway, Lee.

Gift cards in any denomination are welcome and may include grocery stores, VISA/MasterCard, department stores and pharmacies. Santa will deliver all donations mid-December to eight local NH senior facilities in our Concord and Lee service areas.

Help us continue to spread joy to seniors this holiday season.
