Rep. James Thibault, a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, posted several comments on his Twitter account addressing generational concerns and school administrative structures.
On February 19, 2026, Thibault expressed mixed feelings about Generation Alpha, stating “Sometimes I fear Gen Alpha, but this gives me some relief https://t.co/F6rTcNAFRH”.
Shortly after, he shared another opinion regarding societal tolerance and its limits: “Exactly right. They’re kind and tolerant only as long as we agree with them. If not, they’ll go after children, families, and anything else that stands for truth https://t.co/V7X8tznqoM”.
Later that evening on February 20, 2026, Thibault commented on the complexity of school administrative units (SAUs) in New Hampshire: “Doing research on school boards and SAUs for a project. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY?? You have some districts made up of multiple SAUs, some that don’t have full K-12 so they have to contract out somehow or are in a regional district, and it makes for a mess to navigate! CONSOLIDATE”.
School Administrative Units (SAUs) in New Hampshire oversee local school districts and provide administrative services. The state has a complex network of SAUs due to historical development and variations in district size and educational offerings.
