Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Empire Beauty School-Hooksett

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Empire Beauty School-Hooksett, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New Hampshire students paid $18,495 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 24 students received grants or scholarships totaling $118,416 and 37 students took out student loans totaling more than $215,840.

Including all undergraduates (183), 123 students used grants or scholarships totaling $617,953, and 119 students took out $798,736 in federal student loans.
