Republican incumbent Harold French has won his re-election bid in the race for House District 7, defeating Democratic opponent Philip Spagnuolo Jr.
French expressed gratitude in a statement posted on his Facebook page on Nov. 4.
“An absolute Honor to have the support of so many! Thank you all for another two years,” he wrote.
Spagnuolo also took to his Facebook page to concede.
“Friends and supporters, tonight was unfortunately not our night. Although it will not be as a member of the State Senate, our fight to lift up all Granite Staters does not end."
