Contoocook Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on September 9.
Enjoy the summer-turning-to-fall weather with Peabody’s Coal Train (PCT) - an acoustic Americana 6 piece band. Livin' the dream in the Contoocook River Valley region of the rolling hills of New Hampshire, the band enjoys playing an eclectic mix of Americana, folk, Appalachian mountain music, classic country, swingy blues, old time gospel, and blue-grassy toe tapping type tunes.
This event is FREE and family-friendly - all are welcome!
Bring a blanket or chairs, pack some good eats, and get ready to reconnect with friends and neighbors, while enjoying great music in a beautiful setting. This year, we will also have a hoppin' beer garden sponsored by Maple Row Management featuring local craft brews and cider from Contoocook Cider - and you'll be able to enjoy your drink with a view of the band!
