Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on October 8.
CommuteSmart NH is hosting its annual Buses, Bikes, & Brooms Commuter Challenge from October 16th -31st! Join other individuals from across the state by logging your sustainable trips to work! Telecommute (work from home), bike, walk, skateboard, carpool, use transit, or any combination of these modes. Compressed work weeks also count. Gift cards will be raffled off throughout the challenge as well a grand prize for our social media boo-tiful contest. In contrast to last year, this year’s challenge will be all individuals! Even though teams will not be used for this challenge, you can still encourage your coworkers and friends to participate and track how you match up against each other. During this challenge last year, participants saved 49,472 miles, 45,494 lbs of CO2, and $28,199! Join us to save even more this year!
