For the first time in its history, the University of New Hampshire (UNH) men’s soccer team landed in the top-five of the United Soccer Coaches poll, sliding into the fourth spot, according to the Concord Monitor.

“UNH broke into the top-five for the first time in program history earlier this afternoon,” TNH Sports tweeted on Oct 12.

The Concord Monitor reported that a 1-1 tie against Yale pushed the Wildcats’ undefeated streak to 13 games.

Graduate student Linus Fallberg -- of Jonkoping, Sweden -- notched his fifth goal of the season in the 55th minute for UNH.

The Wildcats were preparing for their Oct. 16 matchup against the Vermont Catamounts, as of this writing. Billed as the Senior Night game, UNH has Concord forward/midfielder Chris Pinkham among the cadre of honorees.

Pinkham has started eight of the 12 games he played in this season, the Concord Monitor reported.
