Town of Allenstown issued the following announcement on January 27.

Thanks to the Hooksett Rotary Club, Mike and Carmen Mailloux, and Ron and Diane Adinolfo, the Town has a small supply of ice skates available for renting or swapping skates (Ones that you currently own for a different size, depending on the stock that we currently have).  We have a total of 19 pairs of ice skates available currently. Some are figure skates, and some are hockey skates in various sizes. 

The skates were sharpened, then donated to the Town by Hooksett Rotary Club through Mike and Carmen Mailloux.  We are hopeful even more skates will come in from the Rotary soon. 

Also special thanks to Diane and Ron Adinolfo, for inventorying and cleaning up the skates and also donating some skates themselves. 

The Town is looking for additional donations of ice skates, so if you have any just lying around collecting dust, then bring them in to Town Hall here in Allenstown, check in with the town clerk, and leave them in the meeting room.

So for those that want to swap out some skates for other sizes, or to rent the skates for a short term or a longer time (there will be a deposit required to make sure we get them back, so others can enjoy their use in the future), you need to email the Economic Development Committee and express your interest, and what size you are looking for.  Also leave your name, email, and phone number, and someone will get in touch with you!
