Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on February 11.

Clearly Balanced Days is a proud supporter of Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention. One of the ways they do this is through working with the non-profit, Alec J White Memorial Scholarship Fund which provides 2 scholarships every year to students at Merrimack Valley High School who are going into mental healthcare or a trade. 

Every year on Alec's birthday (February 26th) is unofficially Pink Donuts for Alec Day! People from all over the country have begun to show their support by going to their local donut shop and purchasing a pink frosted donut and posting a pic with the hashtag #pinkdonutsforalec. 

This year to fundraise for the scholarship on the website alecsantics.org they have begun to sell items like beanies and travel mugs with an original pink donut design to give supporters even more ways to show their support, believing that each item is the perfect opportunity to have a conversation about suicide and mental health. 

If you would like to support the mission you can join us by posting with #pinkdonutsforalec,  making a donation or by purchasing items from the website. 100% of the profits will go directly to the scholarship.
