Town of Epsom issued the following announcement on March 15.
The BCEP Solid Waste District is governed by a twelve-member Committee. Three members from each town are appointed annually on April 1st by the Selectmen of each town to serve on the Committee. One member is from the Board of Selectmen, while the other two members are residents of the town. In addition, the Board of Selectmen from each town also appoints a representative to the BCEP Budget Committee. The District Committee meets the last Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM at the District facility, except November and December. The Budget Committee representative may be asked to meet on alternate dates as well as budget assembly season (Fall) and during updates to the Long Term Capital Plan for the facility.
Epsom residents interested in serving as one of the following appointments should email andrea.novotney@epsomnh.org. Please include in your email the appointments ranked by your preference. The submittal deadline is March 28, 2022.
Citizen Representative – Two Year Term
Alternate Representative – One Year Term
Budget Committee Representative – Two Year Term
