The Town of Hopkinton (pop. 5914) is seeking a Finance Director to be part of our management team. This person is responsible for the management and oversight of the Town’s financial transactions, directing and supervising all financial activity, serving as the town’s financial advisor including analysis and recommendations of financial policies, positions and procedures, and serving as the town’s employee benefits administrator.
The candidate should have graduated from a four-year college with major course work in accounting, finance, or public administration, with a minimum of 4 years progressively responsible related experience. Familiarity with governmental finance is a plus. Must have experience with accounting software and must be proficient with Microsoft Office. The job description is available here.
Salary: Town of Hopkinton Grade 18 ($61,499-$86,099) depending on qualifications.
