The Town of Tamworth is looking for a volunteer to sit on the Carroll County Communications District Planning Committee (CCCDPC).
The CCCDPC was formed to create the Carroll Country Communications District, an entity that will empower the small towns of Carroll County to gain better access to internet (Broadband) services. The CCCDPC will gather and share information on the creation of the CCCD. The formation of the CCCD will be voted on by towns in March of 2023.
The Committee meets on (not all) Wednesdays at 10:00 am, usually less than once per month, at the Carroll County Complex in Ossipee. We are required to have two members, and currently have only one. No special skills are necessary other than the desire to work on the behalf of the Town of Tamworth.
