UNH Graduate School’s Manchester Campus Hosting Drop-in Lunch Open House on Tuesday, July 26 - 11:30am-1:30pm

36

The UNH Graduate School’s Manchester Campus is hosting a drop-in lunch time open house on Tuesday, July 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 88 Commercial Street in Manchester. Participants will have an opportunity to meet with graduate program representatives to discuss graduate programs available online or face-to-face at the UNH Manchester campus. Lunch (featuring Ben & Jerry’s ice cream) will be provided for participants.

This event is perfect for the first-time graduate school explorer as well as seasoned working professionals who have been unable to find the time to get their application started but are hoping to get started this fall. Participants will be given an opportunity to register for a graduate non-degree course this fall, talk with a financial aid counselor, meet with current students and tour campus.

There are several benefits to taking graduate courses as a non-degree student*:

  • Try before you apply. You can get started on the graduate program path without having to apply.* Even if you missed the application deadline, many graduate programs will allow you to take a class without losing energy or momentum.
  • Test drive a course. If you’ve been out of school for a while, taking a course can help you determine if you’re ready for the academic rigor of a graduate program.
  • Sample a program (or two). If you’re not completely sure which direction you want to take your career, taking 1 or 2 courses as a non-degree student will allow you to sample the curriculum before fully committing to a program.
  • Save money. Many graduate programs will allow you to take one or two courses as a graduate non-degree student* at a reduced tuition rate. (Tuition information for face-to-face programs in Manchester is available at: https://www.unh.edu/business-services/tuition-fees/unh-manchester-graduate-school)
Centrally located in the historic Millyard in the heart of the I-93 corridor, UNH Manchester offers contemporary curricula, modern educational facilities and, most importantly, a graduate degree from the University of New Hampshire, the state's flagship public university. The Manchester campus is home to many professional graduate programs offering face-to-face graduate programs in biotechnology, business administration, cybersecurity engineering, education, information technology and public health.
