West Central Behavioral Health Announces Leadership Service Award for 2022
Claremont, Lebanon, and Newport, NH ─ West Central Behavioral Health, the community mental health center for lower Grafton County (Upper Valley region) and Sullivan County, announces its annual award recipient for 2022.
The Lilla McLane-Bradley Award for Mental Health Advocacy
Awarded to Chris Christopoulos, Jr, the City of Lebanon Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director for his commitment to advance the cause of mental health and substance use disorder awareness and crisis response services throughout our region, in concert with other State and local officials and community members. Chief Christopoulos shares those values that motivate West Central staff members to treat clients with compassion and expert care. He continues to make significant contributions through his work regionally and throughout the City of Lebanon. His multi-year commitment to Paddlepower, West Central’s suicide awareness community event, and his ongoing efforts to ensure community members are safe and cared for in times of crisis make Chief Christopoulos a role model for others who serve our communities as volunteers and professionals. Established in 2007, this award honors a community member who embodies the volunteer spirit and service for which McLane-Bradley—a founder of West Central—is remembered.
