Granite VNA Names Kris Green Vice President of Hospice

Granite VNA, formerly Concord Regional VNA and Central NH VNA & Hospice, has named Kris Green, MS, RN, vice president of hospice. Green will oversee operational management of the agency’s hospice services, comprising home hospice throughout 82 New Hampshire communities and Hospice House in Concord. She will also collaborate with the Capital Region Palliative Care team to help patients access these services.

“Kris brings extensive clinical and healthcare administration experience to our Granite VNA team, and a deep knowledge of the communities we serve,” said Beth Slepian, MBA, PT, president and CEO of Granite VNA. “She shares our commitment to providing exceptional, compassionate care to our patients and their families, and she is an exceptional leader who will make a positive impact on our hospice services.”.”

Prior to joining Granite VNA, Green spent 31 years with Concord Hospital and Concord Hospital Medical Group, most recently serving as administrator of cardiovascular services at Concord Hospital after serving as director of surgical services. Prior to her roles at Concord Hospital, she served in various roles at Concord Hospital Medical Group and Concord Hospital Urology Group, including practice administrator, practice manager, clinical manager, and clinical resource nurse.

Green holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Rivier College in Nashua and a Master of Science in Healthcare Management/Administration from New England College in Henniker. She resides in Hooksett, New Hampshire.

Granite VNA has provided hospice services to residents of the greater Concord community since 1981. Prior to opening New Hampshire’s first Hospice House on Pleasant Street in Concord in 1994 hospice care was provided in patients’ homes, and in hospitals or nursing homes. At home or at Hospice House, Granite VNA’s skilled, compassionate hospice providers help patients who are terminally ill and their loved ones experience a comfortable, peaceful end-of-life journey.
