Town of Hopkinton NH issued the following announcement on July 15.

“Townie Night” at the Fair is back

After a year off due to the pandemic, the Hopkinton State Fair and “Town Night” are back!

The Fair will open on Thursday, September 2, at 5:00 p.m. and run through Monday, Labor Day.

Townie Night

Hopkinton residents will be given free access to the Fair on Thursday, September 2 from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. by following the procedures listed below.  The Fair will be fully open during this time and there will be a family-friendly Monster Truck show that night in the grandstand (tickets must be purchased separately for grandstand events).

      Townie Night Procedures

  • Hopkinton residents wishing to participate must enter at the Green Gate on Kearsarge Avenue.
  • The Town will have a table outside the Green Gate (5:00-8:00 p.m.) where residency will be verified, and a “Townie Night” voucher will be given.  The voucher will provide free entrance to the Fair on Thursday night.
  • To receive a voucher, you must provide an ID with your Hopkinton address or a tax or utility bill with your Hopkinton address and your name on it.
  • Vouchers will be given out between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m., but once you are in the Fair you may stay until closing.

“Townie Night is a Town of Hopkinton event.  Thank you to the Hopkinton State Fair for its cooperation with this event.
