Victoria Sullivan, a public figure active in New Hampshire politics, addressed recent controversy surrounding media coverage and statements attributed to her in several social media posts made on April 17 and 18, 2026.

On April 17, Sullivan referenced an article written by AnnMarie Timmons of NHPR. She stated: “The article the NH Dems are referring to is this article that far left progressive activist AnnMarie Timmons of NHPR wrote. Although she put “LGBTQ” in the headline (for clicks) nothing in the article actually states that was the reason. I NEVER said those words.” This post appeared to address claims or implications regarding Sullivan’s position on LGBTQ issues and challenged both the reporting and subsequent commentary from New Hampshire Democrats.

The following day, on April 18, Sullivan posted again about the issue. She wrote: “This is my last post on this. Luckily I have receipts. I expect a full apology from the NH Dems…just kidding. They couldn’t muster enough integrity.” The post concluded with “#NHPolitics,” underscoring its relevance to ongoing political debates within the state.

In a separate tweet later that day, Sullivan commented on historical narratives relating to the origins of the American Revolution. She posted: “Massachusetts tries to claim the Boston Tea Party was the start of the American Revolution. We know it was the Pine Tree Riot.”

Sullivan’s comments reflect ongoing tensions between local politicians and media coverage in New Hampshire politics as well as broader debates over historical interpretation within New England.
