Yury Polozov, a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, posted a series of updates on social media in February 2026 regarding legislative developments and home buying advice.
On February 12, Polozov announced the progress of medical psilocybin legislation in New Hampshire. He stated, “New Hampshire House has unanimously approved the idea of medical psilocybin, the bill faces further hearings. HB 1809-FN, authorizing the medical use of psilocybin through a program established in the department of health and human services. OUGHT TO PASS. Rep. Yury Polozov for”.
Psilocybin is a psychedelic compound found in certain mushrooms that has been studied for potential therapeutic benefits, particularly in mental health treatment settings. Recent years have seen increased interest among lawmakers across several states to legalize or regulate its medical use.
Two days later, on February 13, Polozov shared advice related to real estate purchases with a warning about basement construction standards: “A ‘stellar’ carpenter special in the basement… House hunting PSA: if the basement support looks like this…you’ll have to redo it properly. Wobbly wood block + zero footing + pure vibes #BuyerBeware https://t.co/EkkWY0P4H4”.
On February 15, he followed up with an inquiry directed at his audience about data analysis capabilities within New Hampshire: “Who can parse data for New Hampshire? https://t.co/oLKqXGtnV9”.
The recent legislative action on psilocybin aligns with broader national trends as state governments evaluate new approaches to mental health care and drug policy reform.
