FOIA Request to New Hampshire Board of Education Regarding Instructional Mandates for State K-12 Schools on December 10, 2024.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at the Concord Ledger have submitted a request under the Right to Know Law (RSA. 91-A) to the New Hampshire Board of Education.

The request specifically seeks a list of all instructional mandates for state K-12 schools, including all required courses and/or general instruction. This information is crucial in understanding the current educational requirements within the state's public school system.

We believe that access to public records is essential in fulfilling our professional responsibilities as journalists. These responsibilities include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. As such, we have requested a fee waiver as media professionals in line with these duties.

We will continue to update our readers as we receive more information from the New Hampshire Board of Education regarding this request.
